My primary photographic interest is in street photography. The ability to get out there and capture uninterrupted and uninfluenced moments in the real world is a scary and immense thrill.

The problem I have with this is that, as a freelancer, I so frequently spend entire days at home working on my computer and too often never see daylight. It’s a terrible habit, and one I’m hoping to be better at breaking.

Today, it was a very conscious effort to get out while there was a bit of daylight, and in that brief and rainy moment, my options were limited. I pass by this brand new building fairly frequently, and I think it may be growing on me. Brooklyn is changing, no more so than right at my front door. All I can do is watch it happen and shoot what I see!
